Several Affected as Rough Air Impacts Delta Plane into Sydney
Multiple passengers and crew have been injured following a Delta Airlines aircraft from LA to Sydney, Australia was hit by turbulence this past Friday.
The flight, numbered 41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, an airline spokesperson informed. A number of the onboard staff were injured.
The New South Wales Ambulance Service reported they assessed five individuals, and took a trio to hospital with relatively minor issues that such as spinal discomfort and migraines. Those affected were between their thirties and seventies.
